Organisation

The Sup'EnR engineering school is run by a committed and dynamic teaching and administrative team.

The teaching team

Each year, the school employs more than 70 teaching staff to provide all courses in the renewable energy engineering curriculum. This multidisciplinary team is made up of teachers and doctoral students from several departments, as well as contributors from the professional world and stakeholders from the professional world to ensure that students benefit from technical, regulatory and socio-economic training.

 

Administrative staff

The members of the Management Committee are :

 

The Director of Sup'EnR : first representative of the school, he conveys its image in the educational and professional world and supervises the running of the institution.

The Director of Studies : he is the students' main contact and ensures that the courses and education of future engineers run smoothly.

The Recruitment Manager : he manages the various aspects linked to student admissions to the school (external recruitment, inter-establishment transfers, Eiffel scholarship applications, etc.)

The Head of the technological platform : he is in charge of organizing the practical work for the third and fourth years, as well as technological projects for the 3 years of training.

The Manager of internships and industrial relations : he contributes to the development of relations with professionals and he supervises the third, fourth and fifth year internships of future engineers.

The International Relations Manager : seeks new partnerships with foreign universities and ensures the smooth running of student exchanges during their 3 years of training.

The Work-study Manager : his mission is to set up the work-study program (scheduled to start in 2026) and to ensure its management.

The 5A Manager : the 5A manager's mission is to prepare students for their future professional integration.

 

Administrative matters are handled by the school's secretariat, managed by the administrative manager and her assistant.

The Schooling Manager : she is in charge of student pedagogical follow-up.
 

Several times a year, the members of the Management Committee meet to discuss and find solutions to the problems faced by the school.
 

Pedagogical meetings

At the end of the school year, the Director of Studies schedules a pedagogical meeting with teachers to discuss the courses of the past year and the possible changes for the following year.
 

School councils

The school has two boards that deliberate on the various aspects necessary for the smooth running of the renewable energy engineering program. These councils provide a forum for discussion and recommendations, bringing together all the people (both internal and external to the school) involved in the training program. The purpose of these councils is to :

  • identify potential ways of improving the quality of a training program
  • encourage the adaptation of the training program to professional integration
  • provide a clear picture of the cross-disciplinary and professional skills for which the program prepares

The boards are composed of a group of professionals, as well as organizations and institutions that support the program, the UPVD Foundation, the DERBI Competitiveness Cluster, engineering student representatives and teaching staff.

Improvement council

At the end of each teaching semester, a meeting is held to evaluate teaching, develop content to match the targeted professions and associated skills and to work on professional integration, etc....

School Council

During the annual School Council meeting, various points are discussed and, if necessary, voted on: contract of objectives, budget, study rules, admission procedures, teaching program, etc.
