The renewable energy sector is experiencing significant growth, both globally and locally. This expansion is fueled by the transition to more sustainable energy sources, environmental awareness, and technological advances. This transition is a major challenge which therefore requires an integrated approach taking into account environmental, economic, social and regulatory aspects. The growth of the renewable energy sector is explained by a constant increase in energy production from sources such as solar, wind, biomass, geothermal, hydraulic and marine energy.

The transition to renewable energy sources is a major driver of employment, with many countries adopting policies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and increase the share of renewable energy in their energy mix.

Employment in this sector encompasses a variety of occupations, including renewable energy engineers, specialist technicians, R&D researchers, system installers, energy efficiency experts, and consulting professionals. The renewable energy industry is characterized by strong technological innovation. Industry professionals are constantly called upon to develop new technologies, improve the efficiency of existing systems and explore innovative solutions. This sector professionals require specialized training in areas such as engineering, science, energy management, and clean technology. The renewable energy engineering training offered by our school allows you to acquire the skills and knowledge necessary to practice the following professions: renewable energy development manager, renewable energy project manager, renewable energy business manager, design office engineer renewable energies, R&D research engineer in renewable energies, energy consulting engineer, building energy engineer (non-exhaustive list).

Recruitment

The role of the company is essential in the training of future engineers. Recruitment within the Sup’EnR school guarantees your company the integration of an engineer with recognized technical skills in the field of ENR, but also familiar with the economic, legal and social environment. Collaboration between the company and the student can take different forms :

Internships

Professional internships are essential for the smooth running of renewable energy engineering training. For the engineering students, the internship is an opportunity to develop their know-how and interpersonal skills while discovering the professional environment in which they will work upon obtaining their diploma. For the company, these internship periods are an opportunity to discover new talents and possible future collaborators. Sup’EnR students must complete a minimum of 36 compulsory weeks during the 5 years of their engineering course. A period of 17 weeks abroad is also required for the validation of the degree : international internships are therefore strongly encouraged by the school.

Each year, around twenty students obtain their renewable energy engineering diploma from our school.
